The University Programming Council at Frostburg State University presents Def Jam Poet Frenchie Davis at the Lane University Center Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall on Friday, Nov. 9, at 9 p.m.
Davis is a multi-talented spoken word artist specializing in erotica. She has traveled across the United States sharing her unique take on human sexuality. She now resides in New York where she is promoting her first self-published work, “Not From Between My Thighs.”
Davis’s accomplishments include appearing on HBO’s Def Poetry Jam with Russell Simmons and performing at Co-Co’s House of Comedy. She is the first sex columnist for the Monitor newspaper at Marymount Manhattan College of New York, where she is pursuing her Ed.D. in Human Sexuality.
