Tenor Jonathan Hodel to Perform at FSU

Tenor Jonathan Hodel will perform at Frostburg State University at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Performing Art Center’s Pealer Recital Hall. He will be accompanied on piano by Timothy Hoft, a doctoral student at Peabody Conservatory.

Hodel’s program will include Franz Schubert’s song cycle, “Die Schöne Müllerin.” The song cycle consists of 20 songs, and is considered the pinnacle cycle in the German song repertoire.
