Comedian Marianne Sierk, a TV actress who is most at home doing stand-up, will perform in the Lane University Center Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall on Friday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. at Frostburg State University. Her performance is free and open to the public.
With a Syracuse University drama degree and plenty of unpaid acting gigs under her belt, Sierk turned to comedy early in her career. Now she performs at clubs such as Siberia, Governor’s Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club and The Underground. She still acts on television, in small films and onstage, but her main passion is being center stage making the crowds laugh.
