“Indigènes” Presented at FSU French Film Festival
Release Date: 02/14/2008

“Indigènes” Presented at FSU French Film Festival The University Programming Council of Frostburg State University will present “Indigènes” on Thursday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. in Atkinson Room 201 of the Lane University Center.

The second feature of the French Film Festival, “Indigènes” tells the forgotten World War II story of the Africans who fought to liberate France, a country they had never seen before. Four soldiers fight for freedom as “Indigènes” exposes the tremendous racism that forces them to fight for equality as well.

The last film, “Paris, je t’aime” will be featured on March 3. All showings are free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Lane University Center Information Desk at 301-687-4411.
