“Mama D.” Brings Inspiration to Frostburg State University

Frostburg State University will present the documentary film “Mama D” on Monday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. in Atkinson room 201 of the Lane University Center. Mama D.’s determination to enrich the lives of others has served as an inspiration to thousands. This documentary focuses on community service and leadership as revealed in the life of Mama D., who assisted thousands of Los Angeles’ homeless with a single disability check. The award-winning film offers an insight to the phenomenal power people possess when helping others.
