Frostburg State University will highlight some of its most promising and talented student artists when it presents its 2008 student exhibition March 7 through March 26 at the Stephanie Ann Roper Art Gallery in the FSU Fine Arts Building. The juried art show, which is jointly sponsored by the Department of Visual Arts, honorary art society Kappa Pi and the FSU Art Club, includes a reception and awards ceremony from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 7, that is free and open to the public.
Stop by to see work in a variety of media and to acknowledge FSU’s accomplished student artists, who will be awarded a variety of scholarships at the festivities. Artwork will be available for purchase at the event. The public may also submit votes for a People’s Choice Award, which will be announced at the conclusion of the exhibition.
