Activities for Life Offers Tumbling at Frostburg State University
Release Date: 03/04/2008

Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will offer Beginner and Intermediate Tumbling for children 5 to 12 years old on Mondays from March 24 through April 21 in the Cordts PE Center Room 170.

Beginner tumbling will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. Students will learn basic floor tumbling exercises and some work on the low balance beam.

Intermediate students are required to perform a round-off and a kick-over from a bridge (back walk-over) upon entering the class. Classes for Intermediate tumbling are held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Bethany Proefrock and Stephani Baker will instruct both classes. Pre-registration is required. For more information or for registration, contact Amy Nazelrod at 301-387-7934.
