The Frostburg State University Activities for Life Program will offer an Essential/Beginner Stott Pilates Class on Tuesdays and Thursdays Sept. 9 to Oct. 9 from 12 to 12:50 p.m. in Room 170 of the Cordts Physical Education Center. The class is limited to 10 participants with a minimum of 8 required.
Stott Pilates is a contemporary, anatomically-based approach to Joseph Pilates’ original exercise method. The exercises safely deliver optimal strength, flexibility and endurance without adding bulk. Stott Pilates offers a number of benefits to include core strength improvement and muscle balance.
The class will be instructed by Susan Manger, Stott-Certified Instructor. All participants must provide their own Pilates mats. Registration deadline is Sept. 6. Registration forms may be obtained at http://www.frostburg.edu/events/afl/regform.htm.
