Celtic musical group Coyote Run will perform as part of Frostburg State University’s Lunch in the Loft Music Series sponsored by the University Programming Council on Sunday, Sept. 28, at noon in the Derezinski Lounge/Loft in the Lane University Center.
The coyote has long been viewed as the trickster/teacher. The mischievous nature of this animal leads the child within us all and helps us tap into the joy of living. The trickster’s playful and irreverent attitude blends seamlessly with the defiant and life-filled spirit of the Celtic people. Coyote Run’s music is undeniably Celtic in influence, yet hops boundaries and stylistic borders in the same carefree nature of the trickster. It is on these principles that Coyote Run was formed.
The performance is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Lane University Center Information Desk at (301) 687-4411.
