Frostburg State University’s Political Science Department will hold a panel discussion about the 2008 election on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. in Lane University Center Room 201. The event is being sponsored by the Political Science Department, the J. Glenn Beall Institute for Public Affairs, the International Relations Club and the Politics, Law and Society Club.
The panel will include Dr. Peggy Dalton, who will compare the energy policies of McCain and Obama; Dr. David Lewis, who will talk about the 2008 election and the U.S. Supreme Court; Dr. Steve Simpson, who will discuss the hazards of polling in the 2008 elections and Dr. Steve Twing, whose topic will be “McCain vs. Obama Foreign Policy: What’s the Difference?” Dr. Steve Hartlaub will moderate.
