Stephanie Davisson, vice president of Advanced Ghost Hunters of Seattle-Tacoma (AGHOST), will speak at Frostburg State University on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 8 p.m., in the Lane University Center Manicur Assembly Hall.
Hollywood has worked to convince moviegoers that a scene from “The Poltergeist” is an accurate representation of a paranormal investigation. However, professional ghost hunters like Davisson are quick to point out that although such scenarios are exciting, they are completely fictional. Davisson will attempt to dispel certain myths and educate the audience on the realities of the supernatural world. Davisson’s lecture will be followed by a real ghost hunt on campus.
The event is free and open to the public. For information, contact the Lane University Center information desk at 301-687-4411.
