John Prendergast, co-chair of the ENOUGH Project, will speak at Frostburg State University, on “The Ongoing Genocide in Darfur.” on Thursday, Oct. 23, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Lane University Center Room 201. The event is sponsored by the Office of the Provost, Potomac State College and the FSU African American Studies Program.
Prendergast has written a number of books, including a recent collaboration with “Hotel Rwanda” actor Don Cheadle, titled “Not on Our Watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Darfur and Beyond.” Prendergast served as the director of African Affairs at the National Security Council during President Clinton’s administration. He has been interviewed numerous times by several major news networks including CBS’ “60 Minutes.”
