San Francisco-based musician, vocalist and songwriter Austin Willacy will perform as part of Frostburg State University’s Lunch in The Loft Series sponsored by the University Programming Council on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. in the Derezinski Lounge/Loft in the Lane University Center.
Willacy was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and received a degree in psychology from Dartmouth College. Upon graduation, he moved to San Francisco to refine his songwriting and pursue a career in music. Willacy’s contemporary, edgy music has been recorded on four House Jacks albums as well as his three solo albums, demonstrating his musicianship and determination to entertain fans with his amazing and refreshing work. Willacy has appeared on CNN, CBS and FOX and has been featured in articles from “Wired” and “Ebony” magazines.
