The Frostburg State University Activities for Life Program will offer an Intermediate Stott Pilates Class on Mondays and Wednesdays Jan. 5 to Jan 21 from 12 to 12:50 p.m. in Room 106 of the Cordts Physical Education Center. A minimum of five participants are required for the class to be conducted.
Stott Pilates is a contemporary, anatomically-based approach to Joseph Pilates’ original exercise method. The exercises safely deliver optimal strength, flexibility and endurance without adding bulk. Stott Pilates offers a number of benefits to include core strength improvement and muscle balance.
The class will be instructed by Susan Manger, Stott-Certified Instructor. All participants must provide their own Pilates mats. Registration forms may be obtained at www.frostburg.edu/events/afl/regform.htm.
