The Frostburg State University Activities for Life program will offer a Creative Movement class for boys and girls ages 3 to 5 years on Fridays, Jan. 30 to April 17. A limited number of spaces are available and registration will be based on a first-come basis. A payment of $80 is due before the first day of classes, which will be held from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. in the Cordts Physical Education Center, Room 106. (No classes on March 20 and April 10.)
The class, taught by Desiree Witt, is designed with the young child in mind and stresses natural movements of walking, running, leaping and creative movement. Creative Movement focuses on coordination, large motor skill development, musical rhythm, spatial awareness and listening skills.
