Cumberland, Md. natives Doug and Betsey Schwab will present “Around the World in 23 Days with the Smithsonian” at Frostburg State University on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. in room 208 of Gunter Hall. This presentation is sponsored by the FSU Department of Geography-Geography Club.
The Schwabs will share images and impressions of the world from their recent “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity to travel around the globe on a Smithsonian expedition. The couple visited numerous, exotic destinations along their journey and have amazing photographs of sites such as the Great Barrier Reef, the Serengeti and many other places across the globe. Doug and Betsey are the president and COO, respectively, of H&S Development, which recently undertook the project of purchase and redevelopment of the building that is home to the Allegany Arts Council and the Saville Gallery.
