Frostburg State University students Ashley Andersen of Frostburg and Sara Otto of LaVale have been selected from over 250 entries from various parts of the world to have their art work featured in the 11th Annual Faces International Online Juried Art Exhibition.
The exhibition will open worldwide online on March 1 at www.UpstreamPeopleGallery.com and will be on view for one month. After the first month, the exhibition will be moved to the “Archive” section of the Web site where it will remain on view for the year.
Andersen and Otto are art and design majors and members of Kappa Pi, the National Art Honorary Society. Andersen’s focus is in graphic design and illustration and she is scheduled to graduate in fall 2009. Otto has a dual focus in painting and printmaking and a minor in art history and is scheduled to graduate in spring 2009.
