The University Programming Council’s Lunch in the Loft Series presents multi-award-winning songwriter Rachel Sage at Frostburg State University on Thursday, April 2, at 2 p.m. in the Lane University Center Loft/Derezinski Lounge. The performance is free and open to the public.
Sage has penned quirky, melodic pop songs since she was able to reach the piano keys. She has steadily built a loyal grassroots fan base with a rigorous international tour schedule and performing in inventive configurations featuring Wurlitzer, drums, trumpet and string quartet. Sage models her performances like her idol, Elvis Costello, with a fascination in songwriting and arrangement.
