Frostburg State University Department of Music’s Faculty Artist Series presents Pamela Murchison performing a flute recital with guest artists Matthew Ward on oboe, Kirsten Raschdorf on horn and Lya Cartwright Stroupe on piano. The recital will take place on Sunday, April 19, at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Pealer Hall. The performance is free and open to the public.
The performance features “Tarantelle” by Phillippe Gaubert, “Pastorale and Arlequinade” by Eugene Goossens, “Trio” by Gordon Jacob, “Summer Night, op. 34” by Katherine Hoover and “Ballade, Pastorale and Dance” by Eric Ewazen.
