Stott Pilates is a contemporary, anatomically based approach to Joseph Pilates’ original exercise method. With an emphasis on breath, core conditioning and body awareness, Stott Pilates exercise is a safe and highly effective way to stretch, strengthen and streamline the body without building bulk or stressing the joints. Stott Pilates improves core strength and balances the muscles around the joints, improving the way the body functions, looks and feels.
The class will be led by Stott-certified instructor Susan Manger. All participants must provide their own Pilates mat. A registration form can be found at http://www.frostburg.edu/events/afl/regform.htm.
