Frostburg State University senior B.J. Lewis will perform his senior guitar recital on Friday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center. Lewis will be assisted by guitarists Stephen Tunstall, Jeff Pomerantz and Spencer Cloutier. The performance is free and open to the public.
Lewis will perform compositions such as “Prelude from 1st Cello Suite” by Johan Sebastian Bach, “Pavana 3” by Luis Milan and “My Lady Hunsdson’s Allemande” by John Dowland. Ritchey will also perform multiple compositions by composers Georg Philipp Telemann and Leo Brouwer.
Lewis plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education in December. He has made the Dean’s List four times and aspires to become a band director after graduation. He is the son of J.P. and Bill Lewis and is a member of Beall High School class of 1999.
