Frostburg State University will present a joint informational meeting for prospective applicants for its Master of Arts in Teaching and Master of Business Administration programs at 6 p.m. (MAT) and 7 p.m. (MBA) on Wednesday, Dec. 2, on the FSU campus at the Office of Graduate Services, 141 Pullen Hall.
FSU’s full-time, intensive MAT program is designed to lead to teaching certification in one year. The MAT Elementary program is designed for those who have a bachelor’s degree in any field and courses in various content areas. The MAT Secondary program is designed for those who have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent coursework in math, science, art, social studies, English or foreign language and want to teach middle or high school.
The MBA program offers a strong foundation in accounting, finance, marketing, human resources and management. Designed for business and non-business majors and full- or part-time students, courses are offered in the evenings and online. Each course is offered online at least once a year.
