The Frostburg State University Department of Music will present its Fall Percussion Ensemble Concert on Thursday, Dec. 3, at 8 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall in the FSU Performing Arts Center. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
Under the direction of Dr. Ronald G. Horner, the ensemble will perform the following works: “The Uruk Hai” by Joel Morris, “Cha Cha Blues” by Josh Gattry, “Xylophonia” by Joe Green, “Phage” by Pat Muchmore and “Jungle Jazz” by Tam Morgan.
Members of the student ensemble are Colin Shultzaberger, Justin Smith, Rebecca Snow, Greg Jaeger, Robert O’Neal, Ryan Atlow, Amanda Kiser, Katherine Campanile, Vincent Monteleone, Julia Vilece, Glenn Russman, Blair Coppage, Hannah Lagno and Tom Harkins. The concert promises to fun for the whole family, and especially for those who enjoy loud, shiny objects.
