FSU’s Activities for Life Will Offer Youth Climbing Classes
Release Date: 01/25/2010

Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will offer a youth climbing class for children ranging in age from 6 to 9 on Monday evenings, Feb. 8 through March 8, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Cordts PE Center, Room 170. Each class is limited to six participants, with a minimum of three for the class to be held.

The course is designed to introduce youth to the sport of climbing, which offers limitless potential for physical, mental and emotional growth. They will learn proper stretching, safety and climbing techniques. The instructor will be Tylor Street, who holds a Maryland Top Rope certification.
