Frostburg State University junior Laura Fehle will perform her vocal recital on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center’s Pealer Recital Hall. Fehle will be accompanied by pianist Judith Brown. This event is free and open to the public.
Fehle will perform several pieces written by composers George Frideric Handel, Giovanni Paisiello, Giulio Caccini, Johannes Brahms, Franz Schubert, Gabriel Fauré, Reynaldo Hahn, Eric Thiman, Samuel Barber and Roger Quilter.
A music education major at FSU, Fehle hopes to become a high school choir teacher upon graduation. She is a member of the BURG Peer Education Network and is on the Dean’s List. Fehle expects to complete her degree in May 2012. She is the daughter of Daniel and Tammy Richardson of Westminster, Md., and Mike and Stacy Fehle of New Windsor, Md.
