The Frostburg State University Brass Ensemble, under the direction of Kevin McManus, will perform on Wednesday, April 21, at 8 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall in the Performing Arts Center. The concert is free and open to the public.
The program will consist of “A Western Fanfare” by Eric Ewazen, “Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary II” by Henry Purcell, “Awake the Trumpet’s Lofty Sound” by George Frideric Handel, “David’s Lamentation” by William Billings, “The Heavens Are Telling” by Joseph Haydn, “Jupiter From the Planets” by Gustav Holst and “English Folk Song Suite” by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
The FSU Brass Ensemble includes Greg Brightbill, Grant Davis, Michael Gregory, Brooke Speake and David Wall.
