Frostburg State University Department of Music will present the FSU Percussion Ensemble in concert on Thursday, April 29, at 8 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public.
The ensemble will perform “Scenario for Percussion” by Elliot Del Borgo, “Toccata for Percussion Instruments” by Carlos Chávez, “Allegro Assai” from “Quartet in E-flat” by W.A. Mozart, “Gainsborough” by Thomas Gauger and “Sweet Rio” by Arthur Lipner (arranged by David Steinquest).
Dr. Ronald Horner is the ensemble director, with student members Ryan Atlow, Katherin Campanile, Thomas Harkins, Gregory Jaeger, Amanda Kiser, Hannah Lagno, Vincenzo Monteleone, Robert O'Neal, Glenn Russman, Colin Shultzaberger, Justin Smith and Rebecca Snow.
