As part of its 2010 Family Weekend celebration, Frostburg State University will host a “Passport FSU” event on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attendees can pick up their “passports” and campus maps at the Family Weekend Information table in the main lobby on the first floor of Tawes Hall from 4 to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, and beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9. This event is free and open to the public.
Through a self-guided walking tour of different campus locations, students and their families can meet faculty members, participate in fun demonstrations and see displays. The event is designed for families to experience firsthand what students are learning in an interactive way. Each stop on the tour will have a “stamping station” so attendees can have their passport stamped to take home a memento of their visit to FSU.
