The Frostburg State University Department of Music will present its Woodwind Quartet and Studio Recital on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Performing Arts Center.
The FSU Woodwind Quartet, featuring members of the flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon studios, will perform works by Pillin, Hartley, Bozza and Bennett. Solo works by Hindemith and Clarke will be performed, and faculty members Pamela Murchison, flute, and Emily Madsen, oboe, will perform Gaubert’s “Tarantelle.”
