The Department of Visual Arts at Frostburg State University announces the opening of “Arete,” an exhibition of student artwork, on view from Saturday, April 30, through Wednesday, May 4, in FSU’s Stephanie Ann Roper Gallery. The opening reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, in the gallery.
“Arete” will feature artwork by senior Bachelor of Fine Arts candidates Lauren Hunkeler, Sarah McLaughlin, Francesca Pehr, Sarah Earing and Gabrieline Amankwaa. Each student will display artwork that showcases her creative excellence.
A variety of photography, ceramics, paintings, illustrations, graphic design and printmaking will be on display.
