The Frostburg State University Programming Council will celebrate its annual SpringFest on Saturday, May 7, from 1 until 7 p.m. in the Bobcat Stadium. This event is free and open to the public.
This year’s theme is “Spring Fever! Burst into Spring” and free games and entertainment will be offered throughout the day along with contests and giveaways. Events include an inflatable obstacle course, slip ’n’ slide, rock wall, mechanical bull, quad pod trampolines and an opportunity to make your own flip flops. Entertainment will be provided by Truusoul and Bond and Bentley, who play original songs as well as popular rock, soul and reggae music.
The Chesapeake Dining Hall will be closed and dinner will be moved to the stadium from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for a free meal open to all.
If it rains, the event will be moved to the Cordts Physical Education Center’s Main Arena.
