The first show of the fall 2011 semester in Frostburg State University’s Stephanie Ann Roper Gallery will be a showing by the Women’s Caucus for Art of Greater Washington. The show will open with an opening reception on Friday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. and run through Wednesday, Oct. 12.
WCA is the major national organization for women in the visual arts professions. Its mission is to create community through art, education and social activism. WCA/DC, a chapter of WCA, is a multicultural community of women in the arts in the Washington, D.C., area, including Maryland, Virginia, D.C. and nearby states.
