Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will be offering a water aerobics class beginning on Oct. 11 and continuing through Nov. 3. The class will be instructed by Sierra Wassell on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. in the Cordts Physical Education Center’s pool. Participants are able to take either the Tuesday or Thursday class, or both for a discounted price.
This class is geared toward those who are looking to increase cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and body strength. Water aerobics creates good muscle balance, making the muscles limber and strong. It provides great exercise for those with painful joints or other movement limitations.
