The Black Student Alliance at Frostburg State University will present its annual Black History Month Showcase: “Honoring our Legacy” on Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 8 p.m. in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall of the Lane University Center.
The program will include monologues on black heroes. Some of the people featured are well known; the others are not as well known by most people. The theme of self-determination addresses activism, the value of education and entrepreneurship. Participants are individual students, members of the FSU Dance Company and the Unified Voices Under God’s Dominion Gospel Choir.
