Frostburg State University’s Department of Visual Arts will host the opening of the senior art exhibition, “Ellipsis,” beginning Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. in the Stephanie Ann Roper Gallery in the Fine Arts building. The event is free and open to the public.
Robert Croft, Jonathan Franklin, Rachel Precht, Julia Sclar and Melissa Zachritz will display a variety of artwork, including ceramics, photography, painting, illustration, printmaking and graphic design. They chose the title “Ellipsis” as their theme because the word typically indicates that there is more to come.
These five seniors will showcase their diverse and original artworks through Wednesday, April 25. Both original pieces and prints will be available to purchase. The gallery is open Sunday through Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m.
