Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will offer water aerobics on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 11 through Oct. 11, from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m., at the FSU pool in the Cordts Physical Education Center.
The class is taught by Sara King and is geared toward those who want to increase cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and body strength. Water aerobics creates good muscle balance, making the muscles limber and strong, and it is the perfect activity for those with painful joints or other movement limitations. Participants may register for the Tuesday or Thursday class, or both nights for a discounted price.
For information and registration, call AFL coordinator Amy Nazelrod at 301-687-7934 or email anazelrod@frostburg.edu.
FSU is committed to making all of its programs, services and activities accessible to persons with disabilities. To request accommodations through the ADA Compliance Office, call 301-687-4102 or use a Voice Relay Operator at 1-800-735-2258.
