Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will offer a creative movement II class for children ages 6 to 8 on Wednesdays from Sept. 12 through Oct. 17. Classes will be held from 4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. in room 106 of the Cordts Physical Education Center.
The class, instructed by Nicole Frost, will emphasize the use of rhythm, space and awareness of movement. Students will learn advanced fundamental skills, musicality and experience the use of props to enhance the rhythmic/movement learning. Dance attire, such as leotards, tights and ballet slippers or socks, is preferred, although leggings and tight-fitting sweatpants and T-shirts are acceptable.
