Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will offer infant and preschool swimming lessons for ages 3 months to 3 years, as well as youth swimming lessons for ages 4 to 13 years. Both sections will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, from March 25 through April 10, in the Cordts Physical Education Center swimming pool.
The infant and preschool lessons will be held from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Parents are required to accompany their children in the water during these lessons. Parents and children will participate in water exploration activities with the objective of having fun and becoming comfortable in, on and around the water.
The youth swimming classes will be from 6 to 6:50 p.m. Youth swimming instruction is separated into skill levels based on the child’s swimming ability coming into class.
