Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will offer Move It and Lose It! classes on Wednesdays, April 3 through May 8, from 7:15 to 8 p.m. in the Cordts Physical Education Center Dance Studio, room 106.
Move It and Lose It! allows participants to exercise, lose weight and still have fun by dancing to popular music. Basic dance movements will be taught and the students will follow along with the teacher to popular upbeat music for a fun way to get in shape. Participants are urged to wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Bare feet, socks and non-street shoes are all applicable. Participants must be at least 16 years old.
The instructor for this class will be Nicole Frost. Frost holds a master’s in performing arts with a focus in dance education and composition from American University in Washington, D.C. She also earned a bachelor’s in mass communication with a minor in dance and theatre from FSU. Frost is an avid performer, choreographer, educator and mentor.
