Why can’t I access my student’s grades?
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), also known as the “Buckley Amendment,” is designed to protect the confidentiality of educational records and give students access to their own information. This access to information does not include parents, unless the student expressly gives you permission each year.
