The Frostburg State University Planetarium serves both the university community and the residents of Western Maryland, offering free public programs on campus and in local schools.

The Planetarium serves as a resource for astronomy information, offering a number of services to keep area residents informed about sky events including weekly columns in local newspapers and a radio show on the University radio station, WFWM.

Then New Planetarium opened in early September 2014.
We offer programs each Sunday at 4pm and 7pm.
They change each month and last about 45 minutes.
