Frostburg State University, in partnership
with over forty community-based organizations including community
and business leaders, non-profit agencies, and neighborhood
organizations, have joined together to establish two Community
Outreach Partnership Centers(COPCs) to serve two neighborhoods in
Cumberland, and the community of Frostburg. Through meetings with
community agencies and neighborhood associations, and surveys and
interviews with residents, needs were identified, and projects were
developed, that would have a significant impact on targeted
communities
The FSU COPCs received
funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD) in the fall of 2002. |
