Recreation and Parks Management or Adventure Sports Management Undergraduate Programs

Frostburg State University offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Recreation and Parks Management, and Adventure Sports Management.  These programs offer students the chance to pursue careers in the field of their passions through specialized hands-on experiences under the guidance of faculty. Students are mentored through the educational process which prepares them to enter a field they are not only qualified for but one that they love.

                               

Who are Recreation and Park Management or Adventure Sports Management students?

They are a diverse group of people who have many different professional and personal goals ranging
from working as:
 
 
  • a park ranger at the national level to county level
  • program staff for a city or county recreation department across the United States
  • a recreation therapist working at the National Abilities Center with Paralympian’s
  • program staff at a destination resort in the sun belt
  • an outdoor recreation specialist for an adventure based company
  • a researcher for the Appalachian Trail Conservatory
