CCBC in Catonsville - Therapeutic Recreation Concentration

The Therapeutic Recreation Concentration for students at CCBC, Catonsville Campus is listed below. This is the same curriculum listed under the general curriculum requirements for the program except that some of the courses offered on the main campus that aren't offered at Catonsville have been removed from the list.

In reviewing the curriculum, you need to consider two items:

First, you need to complete the discipline courses that all students are required to complete. These are listed under the CCBC Curriculum. Please consult with the CCBC coordinator regarding these courses.

Second, when completing the courses listed in the Human Services, Biological and Physical Science section (Note: some of these courses are not listed below), you can use the ARTSYS web page to help you determine which courses are equivalent with Frostburg's courses listed in this section.

If you complete the TR Concentration, you will satisfy the program requirements for graduation and you will not need to complete an associate's degree, BS degree, etc.

The general course requirements for the Therapeutic Recreation Curriculum are listed below. This listing seeks to provide the minimum or baseline requirements. Please consult with the CCBC coordinator who will tailor the program for you. Also, the coordinator can offer additional courses that you might take to complete the requirements.
