Recreation, Parks Management and Adventure Sports Undergraduate Program

Frostburg State University’s bachelor’s degree in recreation and parks management is the ideal program for students who like the idea of working outdoors away from a traditional office setting. It is great preparation for a career in our national parks, serving as a guide or planning nature experiences for tour groups, vacationers or classes. It is also an excellent pathway to a future providing community recreation programs that help young and old be active, creative and pursue healthy lifestyles.

Frostburg State University and Garrett College have teamed up to bring you this innovative bachelor’s degree program that launches you into the world of outdoor recreation. Demand is rising for outdoor adventure experts who are not just great at what they do, but are also proven leaders and managers. This collaborative Adventure Sports Management program covers both fields, developing your skills with experiential lessons in scenic Western Maryland while fostering your leadership abilities by putting you at the helm of the class. Enjoy networking opportunities, class time adventures and stellar regional resources, all backed by FSU’s commitment to quality experiential education at a great value. If you have the passion, this program will get you everything else you need for a successful career in outdoor adventure!
