About the Program>Schedule

The topics for the ITQ/TOPPS summer institutes are given in a consistent, logical curriculum consisting of the following sequence:

• Summer 2007 - Motion and Force
• Summer 2008 - Energy and Momentum
• Summer 2009 - Electricity

The second summer institute will be held July 7-12, 2008 at FSU. Check-in will be at 1:00PM on Sunday, July 6, with pre-workshop testing until 4:30PM, followed by dinner and an evening workshop.

A typical day during the summer institute will include workshops from 8:30AM to 4:00PM. Participants will also be required to spend two hours each evening (Monday through Friday) engaging in mentoring and educational activities. To view the 2007 schedule in pdf format, click here.

Saturday follow-up sessions are held twice a year (October and April), on-site at the school districts when possible.
