Loans - Alternative Loans

The Financial Aid Office understands that many students and parents do not know where to start looking for information considering private education loans. Frostburg State University does not endorse any particular private loan company, and you are free to borrow from any organization of your choosing; however, we feel that it is important to provide some information to students who may not know where to begin when researching or choosing a private loan company. It is for this reason that there are several lenders listed at the end of the alternative loan entrance counseling interview. Please use the links below to review the criteria used to determine who these lenders would be.
