Applying For Aid
Students admitted to the University will receive
financial aid award packages after our office has received the results
of their FAFSA. The financial aid office will mail a packet of information
to admitted prospective students that will include the amount of financial
aid being offered and instructions on how to accept the financial
aid. These instructions will include information on how to utilize
the financial aid website to complete the required steps to accept
the awards. Our office begins to send financial aid packets out to
prospective students in mid-March. Returning students will receive financial aid packages in June, a few weeks after all student grades have been posted for the spring semester. Starting this year, all returning students will have their award notifications sent to them via their FSU email accounts. These notifications will instruct students on how to find out what financial aid they have been awarded, as well as instructions on how to utilize the financial aid website to complete the required steps to accept the awards. Please see the section of this website entitled "Eligibility" for more information concerning how we determine the amounts and types of financial aid a student is eligible to receive.
