The above figures are costs per year, based on a 9-month academic year. Expenses for tuition, fees, room and board are subject to change. Books, transportation, and personal expenses are estimates only, and students should calculate these items based on their own circumstances. Commuter bills will only reflect charges for tuition and fees. Please consult the current catalog concerning other charges and changes in fees.

Contiguous counties are counties that are given a discounted rate of tuition due to their proximity to Frostburg State University campuses. To receive the contiguous county rate, students must be full-time. The following counties qualify for a contiguous county rate: Bedford, Franklin, Fulton, and Somerset, PA; Loudoun, VA; and Berkeley, Grant, Hampshire, Jefferson, Mineral, and Morgan, WV.
