George M. Wyckoff Memorial Scholarship

Criteria: The recipient must be an outstanding student in the College
of Business

Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Farano Scholarship
Department/Contact: College of Business/Department Chair
Criteria: The recipient must be a junior or senior with a major in the
College of Business or with a major in mathematics and a minor in the
College of Business. Applicants must maintain satisfactory academic
progress. Recipient must have demonstrated ability or potential in business
or mathematics. This award may be renewed for two consecutive years
if satisfactory academic progress is maintained. Preference will be
given to applicants with demonstrated financial need.

Farmers and Mechanics National Bank Scholarship

Chair
Criteria: The recipient must be a junior, senior or graduate student
with a declared major in business who is also a graduate from a high
school in Frederick, Washington, Carroll or Montgomery counties of Maryland.
Applicants must have a demonstrated interest in finance and banking
or investments and an FSU grade point average of 3.0 or better. Accepted
transfer students meeting residence requirements are eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to renewal applicants with an overall grade
point average of 3.0. In the event of equally qualified applicants,
a preference will be given to those from Frederick County, Maryland.

First United Bank & Trust Business Scholarship
Department/Contact: College of Business/Department Chair
Criteria: The recipient must be a junior or senior with a declared major
in the College of Business who is a also resident of Garrett, Allegany,
Frederick or Washington counties of Maryland or Hardy, Mineral or Hampshire
counties in West Virginia with a demonstrated interest in the study
of business. Applicants must be accepted or enrolled at FSU with an
overall grade point average of 3.0 or better. The award is renewable
for two consecutive years if satisfactory academic progress is maintained.
In the event of equally qualified applicants, a preference will be given
to applicants with demonstrated academic ability.

Eugene Flinn MBA Award for Excellence
Department/Contact: College of Business / Department Chair
Criteria: Recipients must be enrolled in the Master of Business Administration
program at Frostburg State University or other programs as developed
by the University for similar studies in the future. An FSU overall
grade point average of 3.0 is required. Applicants must have demonstrated
continued success in the MBA program and considered to be entering the
final year of study. Further interest may be shown by previous scholarship,
research, membership or avocation.

Frostburg Lions Marketing Scholarship

Chair
Criteria: To support a student with demonstrated experience in sports
information or athletic publicity.

Henry and Edith Gehauf Scholarship
Department/Contact: Department of Management/Department Chair
Criteria: The recipient must be a junior or senior with a declared major
in business with a concentration in management or other programs as
developed by Frostburg State University for similar studies in the future.
Applicants must be accepted at FSU or have an overall grade point average
of 3.0 or better with demonstrated interest in management as shown by
previous scholarship, research, membership or by avocation. A preference
is given to renewal applicants and the award may be received for two
consecutive years if an overall grade point average of 3.0 is maintained.
Preference is given to residents of Allegany County, Maryland followed
by residents of Garrett County, Maryland and Mineral County, West Virginia.

Hedrick Business Excellence Award
Department/Contact: College of Business/Department Chair
Criteria: Recipients must be enrolled with a major in the College of
Business with an FSU overall grade point average of 3.0 or better. A
preference is to renewal applicants, followed by demonstrated financial
need and to applicants categorized as non-traditional (older than the
normal 18-22 age group).

John R. and Phyllis S. MacVeigh Scholarship
Department/Contact: College of Business/ Department Chair
Criteria: The recipient must be a junior or senior with a declared major
in the College of Business, carry a 3.0 minimum grade point average
and demonstrate an interest in business as shown by previous scholarship,
research or avocation. Preference will be given to renewal applicants
with an overall grade point average of 3.0. In the event of equally
qualified applicants, a preference will be given to residents of Allegany
or Garrett counties in Maryland and then to those with demonstrated
academic ability..

Dr. M. Shakil Rahman and Dr. Huma Shakil Scholarship
Department/Contact: Department of Management/Department Chair
Criteria: The recipient must be a U.S. citizen or international student
enrolled or accepted for full-time enrollment at FSU with a declared
major in business management and an overall grade point average of 3.0
or better. The recipient must have demonstrated interest in business
management as shown by previous scholarship, research, membership or
avocation.

Trident Health Resources Scholarship
Department/Contact: College of Business/Dean
Criteria: The recipient must be a business major and have completed
all of the requirements of the Sloop Leadership Institute. The recipient
must be enrolled full time and have a cumulative grade point average
of 3.0 or better. A preference will be given to renewal applicants.

MBA- Paula L. Vroman Scholarship
Department/Contact: College of Business/Department Chair
Criteria: Recipients must be women: juniors, seniors or graduate students
enrolled part-time or full-time at FSU with a declared major in the
College of Business or other programs as developed by the University
for similar studies in the future. The recipient(s) must have an FSU
overall grade point average of 3.0 or better. Preference in order of
importance - renewal applicants, may be received for two consecutive
years followed by non-traditional students (defined as over the age
of 25) followed by those with demonstrated interest in public service.
